Project of a Consortium that includes Terraprima approved by the European Food Safety Authority

The project “Modelling population dynamics of aquatic and terrestrial organisms using Dynamic Energy Models (DEB): application to risk assessment of chemical mixtures” will be implemented from 2015 to 2017.
The Consortium is led by the Center for Ecology and Hydrology (UK) and it includes Terraprima (Portugal) and Akvaplan-niva AS (Norway). The aim of the project is to represent the population dynamics of organisms using models and exploring their potential applications for the ecological risk assessment of combined exposure to “chemical mixtures”. The modelling approach will be DEB (Dynamic Energy Budget). The results will be highly relevant for Terraprima's knowledge base on environmental impacts evaluation and modelling.
