The "Agridiag" project is an international partnership involving, besides Terraprima, Hungarian and French entities (and in Portugal, the Instituto Superior Técnico). Universities with expertise in agriculture, agricultural schools and professional institutes also participate as well as associations dedicated to agricultural sustainability.

The aim of the project is to transfer, to Hungary, an educational innovation previously tested in France and Portugal. Essentially, it aims to achieve accreditation in Hungarian vocational education, of a teaching module based on online software for environmental assessment of agricultural holdings "Dialecte".

"Dialecte" is an online tool for environmental assessment of farms created by the French association Solagro. It is freely available (it is only necessary for users to registerher - click here for access) in French, Portuguese, Spanish, English, German, Italian, Romanian and Hungarian. It currently has more than 1,700 holdings in all these countries on its database. Besides the evaluation of the environmental performance of each holding (based on a points and indicators system), it is possible to compare holdings on the database for performance on various environmental themes.

Hungarian and Portuguese partners will test this module in pilot training actions with vocational education teachers and consultants and agricultural technicians in their respective countries. Prior to the construction of the module, a diagnosis will be made of the needs for adaptation to the context of each country. The accreditation of the module in Portugal is not an objective for the project, but the module will be built so that this may happen in the future.

The project started in December 2012 and will end in November 2014. It is funded by the Lifelong Learning EU Programme.
